The Altertek State of Charge Gauge is intended for lithium batteries in portable or fixed applications where a low cost state of charge display is required.
Measuring both current and voltage allows the state of charge to be accurately counted, rather than estimated from the voltage alone.
State of charge is displayed using 10 LEDs or an optional display.
A precision coulomb counter integrates current through a sense resistor (or external shunt) between the battery’s positive terminal and the load or charger.
The Altertek State of Charge Gauge features programmable high and low thresholds for measured quantities. If a programmed threshold is exceeded, the device communicates an alert using the on board LEDs, external alarm contacts and optional screen.
